Description of the Nature and Purpose of the Modification Belfast Gas Transmission Limited, BGTL purchased the natural gas transmission business and assets of Phoenix Natural Gas, PNGL in 2008. This modification proposal is to reflect the name change from PNGL to BGTL within the transmission network code. It also removes the need for BGTL to be defined as a Shipper and removes any reference to the PNGL Distribution Code and Framework Agreement where applicable. The modification also aligns the BGTL Code payment section with the other DPO Codes in respect of bank account details and corrects minor typographical errors.
